Its innovative design features a specialized process connection that strategically positions the pressure-sensing element at the forefront. The diaphragm is designed to be perfectly aligned with the inner wall of the pipe, effectively addressing and eliminating blockages often caused by high-viscosity media. This makes it an ideal choice not only for paper manufacturing but also for various other applications where blockages are a common concern. It ingeniously transforms the detected pressure signal into a reliable 4-20mA d.c. current output, enhanced with superimposed HART communication capabilities. Additionally, it supports PROFIBUS-PA and FF communication signals, offering unparalleled flexibility. The PDS813 further empowers users with the ability to perform remote settings and monitoring, along with other advanced functionalities through compatible communication devices, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

The PDS intelligent transmitter boasts unparalleled precision, with a basic accuracy of 0.04%FS, reaching up to an impressive 0.025%FS. Even after a decade of continuous operation, it sustains a remarkable 99.9% accuracy, significantly reducing maintenance costs. Encased in a robust metal shell with meticulously sealed measurement components, the transmitter withstands extreme chemical and mechanical challenges with ease. Its formidable resistance to electromagnetic interference, coupled with lightning protection capabilities, ensures the enduring stability and reliability of the PDS transmitter.

Intelligent Diagnosis
Equipped with advanced integrated diagnostic functions, the PDS intelligent transmitter vigilantly monitors operational processes and its own condition in real-time. If predefined event thresholds are exceeded, the transmitter transitions to a fault alarm state, emitting alarm currents (3.6 or 22.8mA) that serve as control signals for system interlocks or SIS security systems. During malfunctions, the LCD prominently displays 'Err,' automatically identifying and showcasing the faulty components, thereby simplifying and expediting maintenance, repair, and replacement tasks.
This sophisticated diagnosis can also be initiated via HART, FF, PA, and other protocol communications, with alarms articulated as warning or fault protection currents. It auto-diagnoses SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software health status. Should any electronic unit or measurement element fail, the defective component can be swiftly replaced onsite without necessitating recalibration.

Simulation
With its comprehensive simulation function, the transmitter adeptly replicates process states to procure measurement data, while also verifying transmitter circuit connections and output status. The simulation output parameters encompass pressure, sensor temperature, and electronic temperature. Users can select fixed value simulation or linear function simulation modes. Throughout simulation, the transmitter's output remains unaltered by external field pressure, seamlessly reverting to normal measurement mode following key operation or a power-off restart.
