Intelligent Diagnosis
The PDS intelligent transmitter is equipped with an integrated diagnostic functionality that continuously monitors its operational processes and self-status in real time. When the number of defined events is exceeded, the transmitter transitions into a fault alarm state, outputting alarm currents (3.6 or 22.8mA) to trigger control signals for system interlocking or SIS security systems. During such failures, its LCD display prominently shows 'Err', automatically analyzing and indicating the defective components, thus simplifying maintenance, repair, and replacement tasks.
Additionally, the diagnosis functionality can be activated via HART, FF, PA, and other protocol communications, with alarms expressed as warning or fault protection currents.
