The AMS Asset Monitor revolutionizes asset management with its support for pervasive sensing, providing predictive, protective, and edge process monitoring capabilities, reducing cabling and installation costs by mounting directly at the asset. It supports up to 12 CHARMs, including Vibration CHARMs and DeltaV CHARMs for process inputs. The Monitor boasts powerful, out-of-the-box functionality through a user-friendly web browser interface for comprehensive analysis, reporting, and alerting. This intuitive thin client interface includes an internal Logic Studio with pre-programmed application solutions for straightforward analysis and alert reporting. Its Asset Studio interface seamlessly delivers asset information to your mobile device or desktop, enhancing accessibility and decision-making.
While the AMS Asset Monitor operates efficiently without additional software,it can be superbly integrated with AMS Machine Works software for real-time asset updates, enabling deeper analysis compared to the native thin client interface. This pairing offers ultimate scalability through cloud architectures. Data from the AMS Asset Monitor, processed at the edge, is delivered to AMS Machine Works on demand, upon alert, or scheduled, providing waveform data and status information for detailed analysis using the vibration analyzer tool. Additionally, the AMS Asset Monitor can be configured to transmit overall asset health status and alerts to AMS Optics via OPC UA.
