Intelligent Diagnosis
Equipped with advanced integrated diagnostic capabilities, the PDS Intelligent Transmitter meticulously monitors both operational processes and its own internal status in real-time. Upon surpassing predefined event thresholds, it shifts to a fault alarm state, outputting a distinct alarm current (3.6 or 22.8mA) to deliver crucial control signals for system interlocks or SIS security frameworks. If a failure occurs, 'Err' is prominently displayed on the LCD, alongside an automatic fault analysis and display of the affected parts, simplifying maintenance and facilitating swift repairs or replacements.
This diagnostic prowess is further enhanced with activation via HART, FF, PA, and other communication protocols. Alarm signals can be tailored to reflect warning or fault protection currents. It seamlessly performs automatic diagnostics on SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software health. Should an electronic unit or measurement component become compromised, on-site replacement is straightforward, negating the need for recalibration.

Simulation
Harnessing a sophisticated simulation function, this transmitter adeptly replicates process states to procure measurement data, while also facilitating checks on transmitter circuit connectivity and output status. Simulation output parameters include: pressure, sensor temperature, and electronic temperature. With options for fixed value simulation or linear function simulation, the simulation output remains unaffected by field pressure variations, resuming normal measurement operations after a key operation or power cycle.
