Intelligent Diagnosis
The PDS intelligent transmitter is enhanced with a cutting-edge integrated diagnostic function that continuously monitors its operation and internal status in real-time. When predefined thresholds are surpassed, the transmitter transitions to a fault alarm state, emitting an alarm current (3.6 or 22.8mA) to provide control signals for system interlocking or integration with SIS security systems. Should a failure occur, the LCD panel prominently displays 'Err' and automatically analyzes and identifies the malfunctioning components, significantly streamlining maintenance, repairs, and component replacements.
This advanced diagnostic function can be activated via HART, FF, PA, and other communication protocols, where alarms appear as a warning or fault protection current.
