Intelligent Diagnosis
The PDS Intelligent Transmitter is equipped with an advanced integrated diagnostic function that vigilantly monitors both operational processes and its own status in real time. Should it exceed a predetermined event threshold, the transmitter promptly switches to a fault alarm mode, outputting an alert current of either 3.6 or 22.8mA. This provides a vital control signal for system interlocks or SIS security systems. During such failures, the LCD automatically displays an 'Err' message, swiftly analyzing and identifying the faulty components, thereby simplifying maintenance, repair, and replacement procedures considerably.
Furthermore, the diagnostic function is fully accessible via HART, FF, PA, and other protocol communications, allowing alarms to manifest as either warnings or fault protection currents. It meticulously auto-diagnoses the SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and assesses software health.
