The UB-type glass plate level gauge can be directly used to indicate the liquid level height in various containers. It features a simple structure, easy maintenance, safety, and reliability, and is widely used for liquid level measurement in industries such as petroleum and chemical engineering.
The UB-A type glass plate level gauge is an improved model with advantages such as non-clogging, no leakage, and convenient installation and maintenance.
Structural Principle
The upper and lower ends of the liquid level gauge are connected to the container via flanges, forming a communicator. The actual height of the liquid level inside the container can be directly observed through the glass.
There are mainly two types of liquid level gauge structures: reflective and transmissive.
Safety steel balls are installed inside the upper and lower valves of the liquid level gauge. In case the glass plate is accidentally damaged, the steel balls automatically seal under the pressure from inside the container, preventing further outflow of the liquid.
At both ends of the instrument, the UB type is fitted with blocking screws, while the UB-A type has G1/2" needle valves for sampling, flushing, or releasing residual liquid during maintenance.
The product can be equipped with a steam jacket, suitable for measuring viscous, easily frozen liquid media.
