The PDS Intelligent Transmitter boasts a remarkable basic accuracy of 0.04%FS, which can be enhanced up to 0.025%FS. Even after a decade of uninterrupted operation, it retains an impressive 99.9% accuracy, which translates to significant savings on maintenance costs. Encased in a robust metal shell with fully sealed measurement components, the PDS is engineered to withstand extreme chemical and mechanical stresses. Furthermore, it is fortified with exceptional anti-electromagnetic interference capabilities and lightning protection, ensuring unparalleled stability and reliability.
Intelligent Diagnosis
The PDS Intelligent Transmitter is equipped with an integrated diagnostic function that vigilantly monitors both the operational process and its own status in real-time. Upon surpassing pre-defined event thresholds, it enters a fault alarm state, emitting an alarm current (3.6 or 22.8mA) to signal system interlocking or SIS security integration. During malfunctions, the LCD screen prominently displays "Err", while simultaneously identifying and showing faulty components, thereby simplifying instrument maintenance, repair, and replacement.
This advanced diagnostic capability can also be activated via HART, FF, PA, and other protocol communications, with the alarm manifested as either a warning or fault protection current. The system automatically assesses and diagnoses SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software health. Should any electronic unit or measurement element sustain damage, the faulty component can be effortlessly replaced on-site without necessitating re-adjustment.
Simulation
The transmitter's simulation function adeptly mimics process conditions to gather measurement data, and is also utilized to validate the connection and output status of the transmitter circuit. Simulation output parameters include pressure, sensor temperature, and electronic temperature. Output modes encompass fixed value simulation or linear function simulation. During simulation, the transmitter's output remains unaffected by field pressure, reverting to the standard measurement state upon key operation or after a power cycle reset.
