The AMS Asset Monitor is engineered for pervasive sensing, offering prediction, protection, and edge process monitoring capabilities. Designed to be mounted at the asset, it significantly reduces cabling needs and installation expenses. It supports up to 12 CHARMs, including Vibration CHARMs and DeltaV CHARMs for process inputs. The system is equipped with powerful, out-of-the-box software accessed via a web browser for comprehensive analysis, reporting, and alerting. An intuitive web-based thin client interface includes an internal Logic Studio with pre-programmed solutions for straightforward analysis and reporting, while the Asset Studio interface conveniently delivers asset information to your mobile device or desktop thin client.
Remarkably, the AMS Asset Monitor enables asset monitoring with no need for additional software,but it can be seamlessly integrated with AMS Machine Works software. This pairing provides real-time updates, enables deeper analysis than the native thin client interface, and allows deployment from cloud architectures for enhanced scalability. Data processed at the edge by AMS Asset Monitor is available to AMS Machine Works on demand, upon alert, or on a predetermined schedule. This data can include waveform details and status information for in-depth analysis using the vibration analyzer tool in AMS Machine Works. The AMS Asset Monitor can be configured to transmit comprehensive asset health status and alerts to AMS Optics via OPC UA.
