Intelligent Diagnosis
The PDS intelligent transmitter comes equipped with a state-of-the-art integrated diagnostic function that vigilantly monitors its operations and internal conditions in real-time. When predefined event thresholds are surpassed, the transmitter transitions into a fault alarm state, emitting an alert current (3.6 or 22.8mA) to deliver control signals for system interlocking or integration with SIS security systems. In case of a fault, the LCD panel clearly displays 'Err' and automatically diagnoses and locates the malfunctioning components, greatly streamlining the processes of maintenance, repair, and part replacement.
This advanced diagnostic capability can also be activated through HART, FF, PA, and other communication protocols, manifesting alarms as either warning or fault protection currents. It facilitates automatic diagnostics of SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software health. Should any damage occur to the electronic unit or measurement element, the defective part can be replaced on-site with ease, without the need for recalibration.
