The PDS879 high-temperature remote pressure transmitter is used for pressure measurement and converts it into a 4-20mA d.c. current output (with superimposed HART communication), PROFIBUS-PA communication signal, or FF communication signal. It allows for remote setting, monitoring, and other functions through communication devices.

Features

High stability
The basic accuracy of PDS intelligent transmitter is 0.04%FS (up to 0.025%FS). After 10 years of continuous use, it can still maintain 99.9% accuracy, saving considerable maintenance costs. PDS intelligent transmitter uses strong metal shell and fully sealed measurement parts, can calmly cope with extreme chemical and mechanical load, at the same time has a strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability and lightning protection function, to ensure the high stability and high reliability of PDS transmitter.

Intelligent diagnosis
The PDS intelligent transmitter has the integrated diagnosis function to monitor the operation process and its own state in real time. After exceeding the defined number of events, the transmitter enters the fault alarm state to output the alarm current (3.6 or 22.8mA) to provide the control signal for the system interlocking or SIS security system. During the failure, the LCD display automatically displays "Err", and automatically analyze and display the faulty parts, making the instrument maintenance, repair and replacement become more simple and convenient.
The diagnosis function can also be started through HART, FF, PA and other protocol communication, and the alarm can be expressed as a warning or fault protection current. Automatically diagnose SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, software health. When the electronic unit or measurement element is damaged, the faulty component can be replaced directly at the site without re-adjustment.

Simulation
The simulation function of the transmitter can simulate the process state to obtain the measurement data, and can also be used to check the connection and output status of the transmitter circuit. The ulation output parameters include: pressure, sensor temperature and electronic temperature. The simulation output mode includes: fixed value simulation or linear function simulation. During the simulation, the transmitter output does not change with the field pressure, and returns to the normal measurement state after key operation or power off restart of the transmitter.
