Even after 10 years of continuous operation, this cutting-edge device maintains an impressive 99.9% accuracy, which significantly reduces maintenance costs. Intelligent Diagnosis
The PDS Intelligent Transmitter features an integrated real-time diagnostic function to vigilantly monitor both the operational processes and the device's internal state. When the number of defined events is exceeded, it seamlessly shifts into a fault alarm mode, emitting an alarm current (3.6 or 22.8mA) to signal system interlocking or SIS security systems. During any malfunction, the LCD immediately displays 'Err', while it skillfully analyzes and indicates the malfunctioning components, streamlining maintenance, repairs, and replacements for user convenience.
This advanced diagnostic functionality can be effortlessly initiated via HART, FF, PA, and other protocol communications, with alarms presented as warning or fault protection currents. It conducts automatic diagnosis on SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software health. Should the electronic unit or measurement element sustain damage, the faulty component is easily replaceable on-site, with no need for re-calibration.
Simulation
Designed for exceptional performance, the simulation function of the transmitter accurately emulates process conditions to capture precise measurement data, and is also adept at verifying the connection and output status of the transmitter circuit. Output parameters available for simulation include pressure, sensor temperature, and electronic temperature. Users can choose between fixed value simulation or linear function simulation modes. During simulation, the output of the transmitter remains unchanged by field pressure, and it smoothly transitions back to normal measurement mode following a key operation or power cycle restart.
