Function and measurement system measuring principle The ultrasonic probe emits high-power sound wave pulses towards the target. When the sound waves encounter an obstacle (or a clear interface) during transmission through the medium, part of the energy is reflected back. The probe identifies the reflected signal and processes it electronically to measure the spatial distance from the probe surface to the material interface. The instrument can obtain the material height internally through "working mode-level mode."

Installation guide The bottom of the probe should protrude from the bottom of the process interface; When the conical and spherical tank is installed at the top, it should be installed at 1/3 of the distance between the tank wall and the center feed opening of the container; Stay away from the feed opening; the installation position of the probe should be chosen where there are no obstacles between the emission surface of the probe and the medium being measured. The installation of the probe should ensure that the acoustic wave path maintains an "ideal spacing" with the container wall as shown in the figure below. If the installation distance is less than the ideal spacing, the probe should be installed within the "minimum spacing" area. If the installation distance is below the "minimum spacing" line, the transmitter may fail to accurately measure the level.
