Encased in a robust metal shell with fully sealed measuring components, it gracefully withstands extreme chemical and mechanical stresses. Its formidable anti-electromagnetic interference capability, coupled with a sophisticated lightning protection feature, ensures unparalleled stability and reliability.

Intelligent diagnosis
Equipped with an integrated intelligent diagnosis feature, the PDS transmitter vigilantly monitors its operational process and internal status in real-time. Upon surpassing predefined event thresholds, it shifts to a fault alarm mode, emitting an alarm current of either 3.6 or 22.8mA. This crucial signal facilitates system interlocking or activates the SIS security framework. During malfunctions, an 'Err' message is instantly displayed on the LCD screen, alongside a detailed analysis pinpointing faulty components, simplifying maintenance, and streamlining repair and replacement procedures.
The diagnostic capabilities can be activated via HART, FF, PA and other communication protocols, with alarms articulated as warning or fault protection currents. It autonomously evaluates SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software integrity. In cases of electronic unit or measurement element failure, direct on-site component replacement is possible, circumventing the need for recalibration.

Simulation
The versatile simulation function of the transmitter is adept at emulating process states to derive measurement data. It also serves as a vital tool for verifying circuit connection and output status. Simulation output parameters encompass pressure, sensor temperature, and electronic temperature. Modes available include fixed value simulation and linear function simulation. During simulation, transmitter output remains unaffected by field pressure changes, reverting to normal measurement mode after key operation or a power cycle of the transmitter.
