Gulde 3800SA

The intelligent locator is easy to use, compact in size, and easy to install. It converts a 4-20 mA input signal into a pneumatic output signal to drive the control valve actuator. Parameter settings are made through buttons and an LCD screen on the interface. The LCD screen is located inside the protective cover, thus it is not affected by the environment. Gulde 3800SA supports a Chinese interface.

The preamplifier provides a high static gain to respond to minor changes In the input signal, the pneumatic amplifierdelivers a sufficient amount ofcompressed air to the actuator, allowing the equipment to achieve optimal dynamic performance with minimal steady-state air consumption.Linkage‐Less Non‐Contact Position Feedback - Experience unparalleled efficiencywith this next-generation, high-performance linkage‐less feedback system that eliminates the need for

environments. Equipped with a weather‐tight wiring

terminal box, it securely isolates field wiring connections, ensuring

the integrity of the instrument's components is maintained.

Actuator Overpressure Prevention - The Gulde 3800SA

smart locator can also be installed on other

 

actuators that adhere to the installation standards

of IEC 60534-6-1, IEC 60534-6-2, VDI/VDE 3845, and NAMUR.

Incoming signal Analog input signal: 4-20 mA DC is standard; the minimum

voltage required for division is the voltage available at

the instrument terminal, which must be at least 8.5 V for analog control or 9.0 V for HART® communication. The maximum

voltage is 30 V DC. Minimum control current is 4.0 mA, noting that anything

below 3.5 mA may trigger a microprocessor restart. Overcurrent protection: The input circuit restricts the current to prevent internal damage. Reverse polarity protection ensures the reverse loop current will not damage the instrument. Avoid internal damage with overcurrent protection and safeguard your system with reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliable operation.
