The PDS Intelligent Transmitter stands out with an extraordinary baseline accuracy of 0.04% Full Scale (FS), which can be further enhanced to an impressive 0.025%FS. Even after a decade of continuous operation, it retains a near-perfect accuracy of 99.9%, significantly reducing maintenance expenditures. Encased in a robust metal shell with fully sealed measurement components, the PDS Intelligent Transmitter is designed to endure severe chemical and mechanical stresses effortlessly. In addition, it boasts exceptional resistance to electromagnetic interference and incorporates advanced lightning protection features, assuring unwavering stability and reliability.
Intelligent Diagnosis
Equipped with advanced integrated diagnostic capabilities, the PDS Intelligent Transmitter continuously monitors its operational processes and self-status in real-time. Upon surpassing a predefined event threshold, it transitions to a fault alarm state, outputting a specific alarm current (3.6 or 22.8mA) to facilitate system interlocking or integration with SIS security systems. In case of malfunction, the LCD displays 'Err', and automatically conducts an analysis to identify and display the defective components, thereby simplifying and expediting maintenance, repair, and replacement tasks.
The diagnostic function is also accessible via HART, FF, PA, and other protocol communications, allowing alarm representation as warning or fault protection currents. It performs automatic diagnostics on SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software integrity. Should any electronic unit or measurement component sustain damage, the faulty part can be promptly replaced onsite, eliminating the need for recalibration.
Simulation
Experience unparalleled precision with the transmitter's simulation function, which replicates process conditions to generate accurate measurement data. This feature also verifies the transmitter circuit connections and output status. It offers a comprehensive array of simulation output parameters, including pressure, sensor temperature, and electronic temperature. Users can choose between fixed value simulation or linear function simulation output modes. Notably, during simulation, the transmitter's output remains unaffected by actual field pressure, seamlessly transitioning back to standard measurement mode after a key operation or power-cycle restart.
