physical contact between the valve stem and the

DVC6200, ensuring parts remain unworn and

maximizing the cycle life of the system.

 

Built to Survive - The DVC6200 is engineered to withstand

harsh conditions with fully encapsulated electronics that resist

vibration, temperature fluctuations, and corrosive

environments. A weather‐tight wiring terminal box

securely isolates field wiring connections, maintaining the

integrity of the instrument's other components.

 

Actuator Overpressure Prevention

The DVC6200 digital valve controller features an extensive library of valve diagnostic alerts. These intuitive alerts can be accessed effortlessly via an Emerson Field Communicator. In a HART communicating system, it ensures swift notification of current or potential equipment issues to the asset management system, aligning with NAMUR NE107 alert categorization.

Alerts facilitate the recognition and notification of a variety of situations, including:

• Valve travel deviation caused by excessive friction or galling

• High cycle occurrences due to dither or improper tuning adjustments

• Accumulation of total travel movement beyond a specified threshold, leading to packing wear

• Valve travel exceeding a predefined limit, indicating potential issues
