Intelligent diagnosis Equipped with an advanced integrated diagnosis function, the PDS Intelligent Transmitter continuously monitors operational processes and its own status in real-time. Should it exceed predefined event thresholds, it transitions into a fault alarm state, outputting an alarm current of 3.6 or 22.8mA. This signal assists in system interlocking or for the SIS security system. In the event of a failure, an 'Err' message is displayed on the LCD, which also provides automatic analysis and identification of faulty components, simplifying maintenance, repair, and replacement tasks. The diagnostic capabilities are further empowered through HART, FF, PA, and other protocol communications, allowing alarms to be issued as warnings or fault protection currents. It automatically assesses SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software health. Should any electronic unit or measurement element suffer damage, the faulty components can be easily replaced onsite, negating the need for re-calibration. Simulation The PDS Transmitter's simulation feature allows users to replicate process states to acquire measurement data, ensuring optimal circuit connection and output status. Simulation output parameters include pressure, sensor temperature, and electronic temperature. Users can choose between fixed value simulation or linear function simulation modes. Throughout the simulation process, the transmitter maintains a stable output, independent of field pressure. It seamlessly reverts to normal measurement mode upon key operation or a power cycle restart, ensuring continuity and reliability in operations.
