Intelligent Diagnosis
The PDS intelligent transmitter integrates a state-of-the-art diagnostic feature that actively monitors its functions and internal status in real-time. When set event thresholds are surpassed, it transitions to a fault alarm state, outputting an alert current (3.6 or 22.8mA) to relay control signals for system interlocking or linking with SIS security systems. If a malfunction occurs, the LCD screen clearly displays 'Err' and adeptly identifies and isolates the faulty components, significantly easing maintenance tasks, repair work, and component swaps.
This advanced diagnostic capability is also accessible via HART, FF, PA, and other communication channels, where alarms manifest as a warning or fault protection current. It supports automatic diagnostics of the SENSOR, ROM, RAM, EEPROM, and software status. In case the electronic unit or measurement element suffers damage, the faulty part can be effortlessly replaced on-site without recalibration, ensuring continuous operation.

Simulation
The PDS transmitter features an innovative simulation function, a proactive mechanism that replicates process conditions to acquire critical measurement data. It's instrumental in verifying the circuit connectivity and output status of the transmitter. The simulation output includes pressure, sensor temperature, and electronic temperature. The flexible simulation mode offers both fixed value simulation and linear function simulation options. During the simulation, the transmitter output remains unaffected by actual field pressure, reverting to standard measurement mode upon key operation or a restart.
